Renal Failure and Hematemesis - Renal Failure Symptom

Some renal failure patient may spit out blood, which makes the patient's family feel panic. Chronic renal failure can be divided into four stages according to renal damage degree.
1. Renal compensatory period
GFR reducing to 50~80 percent of the normal level, normal serum creatinine, no symptom.
2. Nephropathy azotemia period
The early stage of renal failure, serum creatinine is higher than normal ratio but less than 450μmol/L. Patients have no obvious symptoms generally, who can have mild anemia, polyuria and nocturia.
3. Kidney failure period
GFR reducing to 10~25 percent of the normal level, creatinine increasing to 450~707, with severe anemia, nocturia increased and dielectric disorder, can have mild symptoms of gastrointestinal tract, angiocarpy and nervous centralis.
4. Uremia period
The end stage of renal failure, creatinine ratio is higher than 707, with significant clinical manifestations of renal failure and blood biochemical abnormalities.

Thus it can be seen that the hematemesis is the symptom of stage III renal failure. At the moment, the patients may need to receive dialysis. however, dialysis is a treatment that can bring tremendous pain to patients, and the method can not cure renal failure completely.
