PKD Patients with Shortness of Breath and Creatinine 5.3

There aren't obvious symptoms in the early stage of PKD . And with the development of the cyst of PKD.Many complications will occur, like short of breath . The following content will show you the reason. Creatinine 5.3 is about in stage 3 kidney disease. This stage is very important for PKD patients . Because with this disease development the difficulty of treat for PKD will increase . Now let us know more about PKD and I will show you a efficient therapy for PKD patients .
Regarding the process of polycystic kidney disease, actually, patients carry the gene when they are born. And with time going by, cysts in some cases grow bigger and bigger and covers almost whole of both kidneys, the diameter of which vary. And pelvis and calyces deform due to compression of those cysts. This is closely associated with proliferation of tubular epithelial cells. At the early stage of this disease, cysts do not compress the kidneys seriously, nor do it affect breath. However, when cysts grow to certain size, they enlarge the kidneys, at the same time, affect kidney’s normal function. As a result, on one hand, the enlarged kidneys compress the diaphragm, which make patients feel short of breath; on the other hand, patients’ kidney function is seriously affected, and their urine output decreases. Consequently, patients have sodium and water retention in their body in serious cases, which duly leads to pericardial effusion. And this pericardial effusion can lead to shortness of breath.
From the above information, you can know that only when polycystic kidney disease advances to certain extent that patients have shortness of breath. So, we suggest that patients should take action positively at the early stage of this disease rather than wait, doing nothing but letting it advance. The earlier patients take intervention treatment, the better the outcome can patients get.

If you are interested in the intervention treatment, and want to get more details, please contact with our online experts or leave message to us, we will try everything we can do to help you.

Causes of Renal Parenchymal Disease

Do you want to know What is Renal Parenchymal Disease and What kind of kidney disease can cause renal parenchymal disease? Follow the folling content and learn more about Renal Parenchymal Disease,
Renal parenchymal disease includes maladies that damage the outermost internal region of the kidney where filtration and urine formation occur. Autoimmune disorders, medical conditions, or obstructions may all contribute to this disease. Lupus, bacterial infections, diabetes and high blood pressure, along with kidney stones can traumatize delicate tissue, causing scarring and possibly leading to eventual kidney failure. Managing systemic diseaseprocesses, however, may prevent kidney damage and failure from occurring.
Millions of nephrons lie within the renal parenchymal area of each kidney. The nephrons contain arterioles, or small blood vessels, known as glomeruli, that are surrounded by tubules. The glomeruli receive oxygen rich blood that contain excess electrolytes, salts, and water and transport the unnecessary blood products and water to the renal tubules. The tubules pass through the renal medulla, or the center of the kidney, into another system of tubules that combine and empty into the ureter.

Studies estimate that up to 50% of patients diagnosed with lupus erythematosus experience arenal parenchymal disease known as lupus nephritis. Lupus causes abnormal antibody production in the body, and these malfunctioning antibodies attack healthy cells, including those within the nephrons. The kidney's normal filtering processes are diminished when cell damage in the parenchymal tissue occurs. The disease might also produce inflammation of the kidney, adding pressure to damaged glomeruli.

Symptoms of lupus nephritis include swelling in the feet, legs, and around the eyes. Patients may excrete urine that appears foamy or bloody. Inadequate filtering and excess fluid also cause increased blood pressure. Blood tests evaluate the efficiency of the filtering process andultrasound imaging reveals abnormal kidney tissue. Treatment may include glucocorticoids and chemotherapeutic agents to reduce overall inflammation.
Uncontrolled diabetes may eventually lead to renal parenchymal disease and subsequent kidney failure. The flood of sugar-laden blood in the glomeruli puts increased stress on the filtering system and increases pressure within the delicate arterioles. The strain of continuously ridding the body of sugar diminishes filtering ability and eventually causes permanent damage. Protein spills into the urine instead of staying in the blood and sugar also enters the urine. Renal insufficiency contributes to hypertension, but hypertension can also cause renal problems.
Excess body fluids trigger renin/angiotensin release and subsequent response from the sympathetic nervous system to constrict blood vessels, forcing more blood to the kidneys.Renal parenchymal disease takes place when this constriction forces fluid through fragile glomeruli and other capillaries, causing cellular damage to vessel linings. During the reparative process, scarring occurs, and vessels become thickened and stiff. Without a permeable surface, glomeruli filtration is diminished.

Cellular and tissue damage can also occur when an patient has kidney stones. Uric acid andcalcium crystals combine with oxalate to form stones of various sizes and shapes. Bacterial infections initiate increased enzyme, ammonia, and other chemical production, which may produce a by-product known as struvite stones. Besides inflammation and swelling, which contribute to decreased filtration, the foreign objects may tear vessels and tissues. Scar tissueforms, inhibiting proper kidney function and contributing to renal parenchymal disease.

The introduction of Renal Fibrosis

The suitable is essential If you are stay in Renal Fibrosis.Because with the development of this disease. The treatment will become difficult.
Renal fibrosis is a pathological change as well as physiological change. Renal fibrosis is a gradual process whose development starts from healthy kidney function, to impaired kidney function, damaged kidney function finally to complete loss of kidney function.
As results of trauma, infection, inflammation, blood circulation disorder, immune reaction and other pathological factors, the intrinsic cells of kidney are damaged. When it approaches to the end stage kidney disease (ESRD), large amount of collagen deposition will trigger gradual sclerosis of the kidney. In this case, bruises will appear to affect the kidney function till the kidney function is completely lost. The process of the sclerosis of renal cells is known as renal fibrosis which features the abnormal deposition in the ECM.
First stage:
This stage is called inflammatory reaction stage in which various kidney tissues starts to get damaged. In this stage, there is no symptoms and disorders for patient other than some abnormal results in Urine Analysis, as a result this is stage is also known as symptoms-free stage. As the glomerulus have strong compensative function, the kidney function is this stage may not be affected or show minor disorder. However the pathological damages to the kidney is really serious, some of the patient may have got glomerular sclerosis and the kidney damage is always prior to the appearance of symptoms. If proper treatment is applied in such stage, such as enlargement of blood vessel, anti inflammation, anti freezing and protection against thrombus, the condition is still reversible or could be even cured. If the patient missed the best treatment period, the pathological damages in the kidney will be worsened and the condition will develop into the stage of formation of renal fibrosis in which the treatment would be very difficult to carry out and the effective of which will be limited.
Second stage:
This stage is known as the formation period of renal fibrosis. In this stage, the formation of renal fibrosis will damage the renal cells so as the kidney function. The condition will develop into decompensative period or renal failure period. If the abovementioned measures are applied timely in this stage, the treatment is still likely to have a reversible effect on the patient to avoid dialysis. If not, together with some other unfavorable factors, the condition may develop into the stage of bruises stage---the end-stage kidney disease.
The last stage:
Once the renal fibrosis transforms to bruises tissue, it becomes incurable and irreversible. If the patient still possesses more than 1L of urine per day, it means there is still certain amount kidney function left for the patient. With the help of micro-herbal Chinese medicines therapy, the remaining kidney function could be protected and stopped from further worsening. Then it will be hopeful for patient reduce the frequency of dialysis or even get rid of dialysis.

Treatments

Different from the previous kidney treatment, blood pollution therapy focuses on treating patients’ polluted blood before reversing their kidney damage. As a great breakthrough for treating various kidney disease in this year, this therapy shows dramatically therapeutic effect.

Renal Failure & Potassium

Do you want to know the relationship between kidney failure and potassium. The follwing content will let you know more about Potassium and kidney failure.

Renal failure results when the kidneys are inadequate in filtering metabolic wastes. Renal failure can result from low blood flow to the kidneys, problems within the kidneys or decreased outflow from the kidneys. Renal failure can occur acutely or chronically, over long periods of time. Electrolytes such as sodium, calcium, phosphate and potassium are not filtered properly in renal failure. Renal failure also affects the distribution of water in the body.

Causes of Renal Failure

Decreased blood flow to the kidneys often causes renal failure. Blood loss, low blood pressure caused by excess dilation of blood vessels, heart attacks and diseases of the heart can cause decreased blood flow to the kidneys. Medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen can alter the flow of blood through the kidneys. Extreme cases of burns or dehydration can lead to renal failure.

Symptoms of Renal Failure

Decreased urine output and swelling of the legs and ankles are major symptoms of renal failure. Swelling of the legs, or edema, is a result of too much water in the tissues. Shortness of breath, tiredness and chest pain also occur in renal failure.
The decreased urine output in renal failure means the buildup of metabolic wastes in the blood. Drowsiness, confusion, nausea and seizure are symptoms that relate to increased waste in the blood.

Elevated Potassium in Renal Failure

Potassium elevation, or hyperkalemia, is a major issue in renal failure because it can lead to cardiac arrest, a condition where your heart stops beating. Cardiac arrest occurs when potassium is very high in the blood. In renal failure, a major goal of treatment is to prevent heart complications by controlling potassium levels.

Treatment for Elevated Potassium

A variety of treatments exist for elevated potassium. Dialysis is the most effective treatment for high elevations in potassium when the kidney function is inadequate. Loop diuretics, or water pills, can be used to force out potassium in the urine but are not effective when there is inadequate blood flow to the kidneys. Glucose and insulin can be used as well. Insulin in combination with glucoses drives potassium into cells, taking potassium away from the blood stream. Kayexalate, a molecule that binds to potassium, can be used to remove excess potassium.
If you want to find a alternative treatment. You can try Blood pollution therapy this therapy .
Different from the previous kidney treatment, Blood Pollution Therapy focuses on treating patients’ polluted blood before reversing their kidney damage. As a great breakthrough for treating various kidney disease in this year, this therapy shows dramatically therapeutic effect.

Normal Potassium Levels

Normal potassium levels range from 3.7 to 5.2 mEq per liter of blood. Controlling the level of potassium is important in renal failure; the level should be checked frequently. Potassium in the blood is assessed by extracting a blood sample through a needle. Individuals in renal failure should be on a low-potassium diet and should avoid food sources high in potassium.

Edema in Kidney Failure

As with any condition, learning how to manage and treat the symptoms is an important step to break-free and live a normal healthy life. In the case of renal failure symptoms, there are unfortunately many to contend with, but it is my hope that this post will serve as guide to eliminate one of the most common of them known as: renal failure edema.
Renal failure edema is a renal failure symptom whereby the kidneys are unable to excrete enough fluid, via the urine, to create a healthy internal balance.
There are many pharmaceuticals drugs (diuretics) and alternative therapies that can help improve urine flow and reduce swelling (edema), but the trick is getting the right one for your kidney disease symptom.
Unfortunately many diuretics can cause renal failure, or reduce kidney function as part of their side-effects… Doesn’t make sense does it?
This is not an exhaustive list by any measure, but the following drugs have been implicated with renal failure or decreased renal function: Spironolactone (Aldactone), Chlorothiazide (Diuril, Diuril Sodium), and Triamterene (Dyrenium). I would recommend asking your doctor next time you visit to double check the side effects of the diuretic that he or she has prescribed you. Otherwise, jump online at www.kidney-treatment.org to assess the side effects for yourself; and then bring up any concerns you have with your health care professional.
Note: Diuretic drugs can play a much needed role in the management of kidney disease, especially when a fast and much needed action is required. You just need to play it right, and play it safe.
Option Number 2 (or should it be number 1?)
Thankfully Mother Nature has some answers of her own! She has been busy the last few hundred million years formulating specific plants to provide the same benefits as drugs – the only difference being that there are virtually no side-effects.
That’s not to say you can take any at random, no that is definitely not the case, in fact you have to be just as careful prescribing natural remedies during kidney disease as you do drugs. The only difference is, is that when you select the appropriate plant, the side-effects are always less than the pharmaceutical drugs counterpart.

So What Are The Best Natural Treatment For People With Renal Failure Edema?

Herbal Medicine Tips
In no particular order, here are some of the best herbs to reduce renal edema and improve urination:
Celery seed: the is a fantastic remedy, one of the best, but those categorised with stage 3-5 kidney disease need to avoid it; it may be consumed freely as a part of your diet, but not as a concentrated supplement. The plant is also fantastic at treating gout, rheumatism and urinary tract infections.
Green tea: has been used as a diuretic in China for centuries, and is very safe. Green tea is also beneficial for atherosclerosis, prevention of cancer, high cholesterol, and infections.
Gravel root: a gentle herb used to eliminate excess fluid. Also beneficial for rheumatic conditions, prostatitis, urinary tract infections, and of course kidney stones (hence the name ‘gravel’ root).
Goldenrod: beneficial for both the kidneys and reducing edema, however this herb cannot be used in all stages of kidney disease (avoid in stages 3-5). Goldenrod is also an excellent herb for sinusitis, throat infections, cystitis, and flatulence.
Dandelion leaf (not to be confused with the root): is a well known diuretic for many centuries. This plant needs to be avoided in those with high potassium blood levels (hyperkalemia), and those with gallbladder problems.
Nettle leaf (not to be confused with the root): a great all round herb that is gentle, nutritious and helps heal the kidneys.
Juniper: this herb is excellent for eliminating fluid retention, but like celery seed it needs to avoided in cases where stage 3-5 kidney disease is present; also beneficial for rheumatism, digestion, and cystitis.

Butcher’s broom: This is herb is a great choice in those whose main contributing factor for fluid retention is poor circulation (which is common in renal failure).

Treatment edema in kidney failure

Unhealthy blood is the chief culprit of the damage to renal tissues and root cause of lingering kidney disease. If the blood in the body is heavily contaminated, the organs and tissues where the blood flows through will be damaged. After we find the cause of kidney damage- the unhealthy blood, Clear Blood Pollution Therapy is invented to treat kidney disease fundamentally.

Clear Blood Pollution Therapy will start with treating the blood, not the kidney. Namely, we don't start from repairing the renal lesions, but start from the patients' unhealthy blood contaminated with toxic and harmful substance.
This therapy is specialized in removing the toxin and harmful substance on vascular walls and blood vessels so as to effectively restore original hematopoietic and blood circulation mechanism of the patients so as to cure kidney disease.
